What to check when buying sunless tanning supplies

• DHA percentage. This is the active that develops colour, and the figure decides how dark the result goes. Higher is not better for everyone — a high percentage on fair skin goes orange.
• Base tone. Violet, green and brown bases counteract different undertones. Choosing the wrong base is the usual reason a tan reads orange rather than natural.
• Development time, which varies from rapid formulas rinsed within hours to overnight ones.
• Equipment compatibility. Solutions and machines are not freely interchangeable — check the viscosity a given system is designed for, and whether the gun needs a specific nozzle size.
• Shelf life after opening. DHA degrades, and old solution develops poorly. Buy quantities you will use.
• Storage. Cool and dark. Heat shortens the life of the active considerably.
• Patch test. Do one before a full application, especially with a new brand.

Worth knowing: sunless tanner colours the outer skin layer only and provides no protection from the sun. A tan from a bottle is not a substitute for sunscreen.

Before you order

• Compare the total at checkout, not the listed price. Shipping and tax appear at the final step, and on a cross-border order duties are added later again.
• Check the delivery estimate against when you actually need the item, especially for a gift.
• Read the return terms for the specific item. Sale and personalised items are the ones most often excluded.
• Check the product page specification rather than the category description — size, fit and compatibility details live there.
• Keep the packaging until you are sure, since most brands require original condition for a return.

How to use a Xtansunless code

1. Open our Xtansunless deals page and pick an offer.
2. Reveal the code — the Xtansunless site opens in a new tab.
3. Add what you want to the cart on xtansunless.com.
4. At checkout, paste the code into the Promo code or Discount field and click Apply.
5. Check the order summary shows the discount before you pay.

Codes expire, hit usage caps, or get withdrawn without notice. If one does not apply, try the next offer on the page.

How we list Xtansunless offers

We collect publicly available Xtansunless offers on one page and link straight through to the brand. We do not invent codes and we do not publish discount figures we cannot see — where an offer has no stated amount, it is listed as a deal rather than a percentage.
