Wolf & Badger First Order Guide 2026: Pick, Pay and Save in 7 Easy Steps

Six tabs are open. One holds a tinted lip balm from a London scent house, another a solid perfume tucked inside a real pearl seashell, a third a set of ivory silk pillowcases in a gift box. They're all from different small brands, they're all on one website, and you're not sure what happens when you press Pay.

That's the usual first visit to Wolf & Badger. It's a marketplace for independent designers, so a first order works a little differently from a normal store: separate parcels, a delivery fee per brand and a returns portal instead of a counter. Olivia Reviews went through the US site's delivery, returns, payment and FAQ pages in October 2026 and turned them into a step-by-step plan for your first order.

Quick take: Set your region to the USA, sign up for the newsletter's 10% offer before you shop, and build your first cart around one or two brands. US delivery costs $10 per brand and is free over $250, duties are included, returns are free within 14 days, and you can pay with cards, Apple Pay, Klarna or Afterpay. See today's Wolf & Badger deals before you pick your first piece.

Why your first order here works differently

Wolf & Badger launched in 2010 in London and now has stores in London, New York and Los Angeles. It doesn't make its own products. Instead, independent brands list their work on the site, and each brand dispatches its own items using Wolf & Badger's delivery services. You pay once, in a single payment, however many brands are in your bag.

The upside is variety: body care from Britain, alpaca knits, jewelry from New York, all in one checkout. The trade-off is that every brand is its own shipment, with its own delivery fee and tracking number. Once you know that, the rest of the process is simple.

Step 1: Set your region before you browse

The region selector in the footer lists Australia, Canada, the European Union, the United Kingdom, a Global store and the USA, each with its own currency. Pick USA (USD $). Prices then show in dollars, and Wolf & Badger says duties are included for US orders, so you won't get a customs bill at the door. Product pages add that sales tax is added at checkout where applicable.

Step 2: Grab your welcome offer first, not last

The site footer says "Sign up for 10% off." The code arrives by email after you subscribe. Get it before you build your cart, because the FAQ is clear that Wolf & Badger can't apply a discount code after checkout.

Two other details are worth knowing now. The footer also links to a 10% Essential Worker Discount and a 10% Youth & Senior Discount, each with its own page. And if someone gave you a Wolf & Badger gift card, the gift card terms say it can't be combined with other discount or offer codes, so decide which one you'll use.

Step 3: Choose your first piece by reading the listing

Every product page answers the same questions in the same places: the price with "Import duties included," a stock note such as "Low Stock," a Product Details section, a list of the brand's values badges (such as Happy Worker or Natural Materials) and a Meet the Brand panel showing where the maker is based. Here are six first-order candidates, chosen to show the range of brands and prices on the US site.

Pick 1: Ashley & Co Lip Punch Natural Lip Balm Collection ($82)

Four slim tubes in one set, packaged in white, soft brown, pink and deep berry. Ashley & Co describes a rich, buttery balm made with natural beeswax, arnica and essential oils, with each tinted version colored by 100% natural pigment. It's an easy first order because there's no size to choose. The listing showed only three left when we checked.

Pick 2: Roots Rose Radish Rose Frankincense & Patchouli, Small ($64)

Open the gold clasp and you find a solid scent set inside a white pearl turbo seashell. The brand describes a resin base of frankincense and patchouli with Rose Otto for sweet, floral undertones, drying down to what it calls "the leathery scent of skin that has been amongst blossoms." It's small enough for a coat pocket, and it looks like a keepsake on a dresser.

Pick 3: Jo Leversuch Multi Use Powder Brush ($72)

A tapered brush in Soft Tec synthetic hair with a weighted handle for control. The listing suggests it for highlighter on the cheekbones, powder around the eyes and nose, and as a one-sweep tool for powder eyeshadow. It's a useful pick if you'd rather start with a tool than a skincare formula.

Pick 4: Silk Works Ivory Oxford Border Pillowcases, Set of Two ($316)

This is the splurge, and it clears the free-delivery line on its own. Silk Works lists 22 momme, grade 6A pure mulberry silk in a standard queen size of 76 x 51 cm plus a 5 cm Oxford border. Every set arrives in a gift box, so you could keep it or hand it over as it is.

Pick 5: Arctic Fox & Co. The Alpaca Mittens in White ($112)

For a winter first order, these are made from RAS (Responsible Alpaca Standard) certified alpaca wool. The brand says they're finished by hand with a seamless construction as part of a zero-waste production process. There's no size to get wrong, and the brand sells a matching zip balaclava and scarves if you want a set from one maker.

Pick 6: Cara & The Sky Marissa Bubble Stitch Stripe Jumper ($169)

Pink and lilac bubble stitch, balloon sleeves and a relaxed oversized fit, made from yarn the brand says is produced locally in the UK. This is the example to study if clothing is your first order: the listing says the style is oversized and suggests a size smaller for a neater fit. When we checked, only XS was in stock, a reminder that small brands sell out fast.

The six picks at a glance

Multi Use Powder Brush (Jo Leversuch)$72Makeup lovers who want a precise tool
Lip Punch Lip Balm Collection (Ashley & Co)$82A no-sizing first order

Marissa Bubble Stitch Stripe Jumper (Cara & The Sky)$169A statement knit, if your size is in stock
Ivory Oxford Border Silk Pillowcases (Silk Works)$316A gift-boxed splurge with free delivery

Step 4: Build your cart around the delivery fee

In the US, delivery is $10 per brand and free once you spend over $250 (the site banner calls it free express shipping). Three sample first orders show how much this matters:

  • One brand, one fee: Lip Punch ($82) plus Ashley & Co's Tui & Kahili Wash Up body wash ($70) comes to $152 with a single $10 delivery fee.
  • Three brands, three fees: Lip Punch, the Roots Rose Radish scent and the Jo Leversuch brush total $218, but they come from three brands, so delivery adds $30.
  • Over the line: the Silk Works pillowcases ($316) pass $250 alone, so delivery is free.

Step 5: Check out and pay your way

The FAQ lists Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Discover, Cartes Bancaires, China Union Pay and JCB. US shoppers can also choose Klarna, which splits the order into four payments every two weeks with a $10 minimum, or Afterpay, which splits it into four payments every two weeks. Enter discount and gift card codes in the "Add a gift card or discount" box. Delivering to your office is fine, according to the FAQ. Payment over the phone isn't offered.

Step 6: Know what happens after you order

  • Tracking: each brand sends its own dispatch email with a tracking number, and Wolf & Badger's terms say payment is taken on dispatch.
  • Timing: your checkout and confirmation email show an estimate for each brand. The FAQ says to allow up to 5 days after dispatch, and deliveries usually arrive Monday to Friday.
  • At the door: orders travel tracked, and the courier takes a signature or a photo. You can waive the signature with the courier, but Wolf & Badger says it then isn't responsible for loss or damage.
  • Questions: the on-site chat bot, Wolfie, answers "Where is my order," and live chat runs 10am to 9pm GMT on weekdays.
  • Changed your mind early? Contact the team quickly. An order can sometimes be canceled before the brand prepares it.

Step 7: If something isn't right

Returns are free worldwide. Request your label in the returns portal within 14 days of delivery, print it and attach it to the outer packaging, and include your packing slip. The item has to reach the brand within 28 days of when you received it, unworn and in its original packaging. Beauty products must be unopened with seals intact, and personalized or made-to-order pieces are non-refundable.

Refunds typically take up to three working days after the brand receives your return, then up to 7 days to appear on your statement. You choose a refund to your original payment method or account credit, and you can't change that choice later. There are no exchanges, the original delivery fee isn't refunded, and you can drop online returns at the New York and Los Angeles stores. If you spot your item cheaper on the brand's own website within 14 days, contact Wolf & Badger about its price-match policy.

What we like, and what to watch

What we like

  • One payment for many brands, with Klarna and Afterpay available in the US.
  • Duties included, so the US price is clear before you pay.
  • Free returns, plus in-store drop-off in New York and Los Angeles.
  • Product pages show stock levels and where each maker is based.

What to watch

  • $10 per brand adds up fast on mixed carts under $250.
  • Discount codes can't be added after checkout, and gift cards don't combine with codes.
  • Popular sizes from small brands sell out quickly.
  • Opened beauty products can't be refunded.

Who should place a first order, and who should wait

Good fit: shoppers who like discovering small brands, beauty fans happy to start with a balm, scent or brush, and gift buyers who can group presents by brand.

Maybe wait: anyone who needs one box on one day, or who wants to test many cheap items from many different brands at once.

How to save on that first order

  1. Subscribe for the 10% sign-up offer before you check out.
  2. Check whether you qualify for the Essential Worker or Youth & Senior discount.
  3. Keep to one brand, or pass $250 for free delivery.
  4. Browse the Sale section, then compare live offers on our Wolf & Badger coupons page.

First-order questions, answered

Can I use a gift card and a discount code on the same order?

No. Wolf & Badger's gift card terms say gift cards can't be used together with other discount or offer codes, and only one gift card can be used per purchase.

Does Wolf & Badger take Klarna or Afterpay in the US?

Yes. The FAQ lists both for US shoppers. Klarna splits payment into four installments every two weeks with a $10 minimum, and Afterpay splits it into four payments every two weeks.

Can I cancel an order after placing it?

Sometimes. Wolf & Badger says it may be able to cancel with the brand before the order is prepared and shipped. After that, use the free returns service.

Why did I get two tracking emails?

Each brand dispatches its own items, so an order from two brands means two parcels, two tracking numbers and possibly two delivery days.

Final verdict

Your first Wolf & Badger order is easy once you know the rules: region set to the USA, code in hand before checkout, and a cart built around one brand or past $250. After that, you get duty-inclusive prices, flexible payment and free returns, with pieces made by small designers. Start with something simple, a balm, a solid scent or a pair of mittens, and see today's Wolf & Badger deals before you pay.
