The cart says $695. Your cursor hovers over "checkout," and a dozen small questions come rushing in. What if it doesn't fit? Will it arrive before Saturday? Can I wash it? What if it goes on sale next week? With a designer label, those questions are the real price of hesitation, and most of them have plain answers buried in a help center.
Olivia Reviews dug them out. In October 2026 we went through Simkhai's help center, its refund and shipping pages, and the "Size & Fit" and "More Details" tabs on current product pages, then answered the 12 questions shoppers most often have before ordering, in plain English.

Ordering and Delivery
1. How much is US shipping, and how fast will it arrive?
Simkhai's help center says every order within the continental United States gets complimentary standard FedEx Ground shipping once the order is above $400. Below that, you pay for shipping. Faster options are $25 for Standard 2nd Day and $35 for Express Overnight. Bigger orders get free upgrades: subtotals over $1,500 qualify for free 2nd Day, and over $2,500 for free Overnight.
Orders ship from the brand's distribution center in Los Angeles. Allow 24–72 hours for processing; orders are processed and delivered Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Economy FedEx Ground then averages 2–6 business days inside the continental US. Need it on a Saturday? You have to email the brand to request Saturday delivery on Friday before 12:00 PM Pacific. You can also ask customer service to add a signature requirement.
2. Can I change or cancel an order after placing it?
Maybe. The help center says Simkhai will do its best to accommodate changes, such as modifying items, canceling or updating the shipping method, but doesn't promise it. One firm rule: the payment method can't be changed once the order is submitted. If you're unsure about a size, decide before you pay.
3. What does "pre-order" mean on a product page?
Some pieces are sold before they're in the warehouse, and the product page shows an expected ship window next to the Add to Bag button. The Jada Leather Cape Jacket ($1,495), for example, said "Pre-order expected to ship in January" when we checked. If you're buying for a date, read that line first.
Returns and Exchanges
4. How long do I have to return something, and what does it cost?
Fourteen days from the original date of receipt, for unworn items in original condition with all tags and labels intact. Simkhai says it won't accept items that have been worn, washed, used, damaged or altered, and returns outside those conditions can be refused. Start the process through the brand's return portal.
Return shipping uses a flat-rate label within the US. One thing to know: the help center's return policy lists $15 per label, while the refund policy page linked in the store footer listed $20 when we checked. Check the amount shown in the return portal before you print. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10–14 business days of the return arriving.
5. Is an exchange a better deal than a return?
Often, yes. Exchanges include complimentary shipping on the reorder, and store credit and exchanges are issued for the full value of the original order. If the problem is only size, an exchange saves you the second shipping cost.
6. Can I return something I bought on sale?
Assume not. The return policy names Home & Lifestyle products, e-gift cards and anything bought at 50% off or more as final sale, and the separate Promotion & Sale policy goes further: all discounted items are final sale, with no return, exchange or store credit. There's one helpful exception in that policy: full-price items bought during a sitewide promotion remain returnable under the standard policy.

7. Is there a Simkhai discount code, and can I stack it?
The site's banner and footer advertise 10% off your first purchase when you sign up for emails; the code is sent after you subscribe. Simkhai's Promotion & Sale policy adds the fine print: promotional codes are valid for 24 hours, are non-transferable, can't be combined with other offers, and select styles may be excluded. 8. What if the price drops after I buy?
Simkhai offers a one-time price adjustment within 14 days of purchase for online orders, and within 7 days for purchases in its stores, where applicable. The sale policy says adjustments aren't honored on items included in a sale, so it mainly protects full-price purchases.
Fabric, Fit and Care
9. What are the clothes made of, and how do I clean them?
Open the "More Details" tab on any product page and you'll find the fiber content and care line. A few Holiday 2026 examples:

So budget for dry cleaning. Even the cashmere sweater is labelled dry clean only.
10. Is it lined, and how long is it?
That's what the "Size & Fit" box is for, and it's worth reading before you choose a size. The Alessa sweater is not lined, pulls on and is 22" long. The Nadine dress is not lined, fastens with a center back hook and is 35¼" long, with an asymmetric fringed hem. The Orelia is not lined, buttons down the front and measures 49¾". The Vessia leather dress is fully lined with a side zip and runs 53¾". Combine those lengths with your own height and you'll have a good idea of where a hem will land.
Sizing itself follows two scales: dresses like the Nadine and Vessia come in 00–14, while knits like the Alessa and Orelia come in XS–XL. When we checked, size 14 was already sold out in the Nadine, and 12 and 14 in the Vessia.
International, Gifts and Problems
11. Does Simkhai ship outside the US, and who pays duties?
International orders ship with DHL Express. Duties and taxes are already included in the price for Canada, Australia, Great Britain, the European Union and the United Arab Emirates; elsewhere they're calculated at checkout. International returns are accepted within 14 days of the original shipment date, with flat-rate labels such as 34 CAD for Canada, 20 GBP for the UK, 22 EUR for the EU, 35 AUD for Australia and 25 USD for the rest of the world. Canadian shoppers get a full refund of duties and taxes on returns.
12. What if my order arrives damaged, or I need a gift?
For damage, email the brand at its orders address with photos of the item. Customer care is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Pacific. For gifts, e-gift cards are sold online and arrive by email with instructions; physical gift cards are available in Simkhai's boutiques. Note that e-gift cards are final sale. Also, anything bought in a Simkhai store has to go back to that store, not through the website.
