Muck Boot New Arrivals 2026: Woodland Pro, Chore Classic USA and What Else Is New

Muck Boot New Arrivals 2026: Woodland Pro, Chore Classic USA and What Else Is New

The barn smells like cold hay and diesel. Somebody left the gate open again, the paddock is churned to soup after three days of rain, and the boots by the door are last year's pair, the ones with a split starting at the flex line. You don't need a whole new wardrobe. You need to know what's actually new before you spend $150 on a replacement.

So Olivia Reviews went through the New collection on muckbootcompany.com on October 20, 2026, and read every product page in it: materials, heights, soles, sizes and prices. Here's what's on the "New" shelf heading into the cold months, what each boot is built for, and who should look first.

Quick take: The standouts in Muck's New collection are the Woodland Pro 17" ($175, or $190 with 400G PrimaLoft Gold insulation), the Chore Classic USA, assembled in the U.S. ($155, or $170 with a steel toe), and the lighter Outmax and Xplorer outdoor boots ($105–$140). For rain and kids, there's a men's adjustable Rainscape ($120) and a Big Kids' Chore Western ($70). Most pairs clear the $99 line for free shipping and returns. How We Read the New Shelf

We used Muck's own labels: everything below sits in the brand's New collection, and most styles carry a "New" badge. Some arrived earlier in the year and are still featured, so we've noted what each one is built for rather than guessing at launch dates. Prices are U.S. prices from the product pages when we checked. We don't score or rank boots.

The New Arrivals, One by One

Woodland Pro Men's 17" Outdoor Boot ($175)

Muck says the Woodland Pro is built on the legacy of its Woody Sport and Wetland boots, then reengineered from the ground up. The headline feature is what Muck calls the Leaf Spring System: a lightweight BioLite foam midsole, a multi-plate and an independent suspension heel, aimed at cushioning on long days. Above it sits a 5mm neoprene bootie with a durable water-repellent treatment and a soft fleece lining, plus an extended-fit gusset you can adjust for calf width. Variable lugs handle mud, timber and uneven ground.

Look first if: you spend whole days outdoors, from scouting land to feeding stock, and want a tall boot with real underfoot cushioning.

Woodland Pro Men's 17" 400G Insulated Outdoor Boot ($190)

Same build, with 400G PrimaLoft Gold insulation added for warmth without much bulk, according to Muck. It comes in Mossy Oak Country Roots camo in men's sizes 7 to 15. The brand pitches it for sitting in a stand, checking trail cameras and cold-weather chores.

Look first if: your outdoor time involves long still stretches in the cold, where an extra layer matters more than a lighter step.

Chore Classic USA Men's Work Boot ($155) and Steel Toe ($170)

This is the familiar Chore boot with a new label inside: "Assembled in the USA." Muck describes high-grade neoprene (a 5mm bootie), layers of hand-laid rubber, a steel shank for arch support, triple toe and quadruple heel rubber reinforcement, and a breathable mesh lining. The soft-toe version is rated to ASTM F2892 for electrical hazard protection; the Steel Toe version is listed as meeting ASTM F2413 M/I/C impact and electrical hazard standards.

Look first if: you already love the Chore and want a U.S.-assembled version, or your job site calls for a rated steel toe.

Outmax Men's 12" ($140) and Outdoor Ankle Boot ($115)

Muck's tagline for the Outmax is "made to move." It's a lighter, more athletic boot: 3mm neoprene with a water-repellent finish, a BioLite foam midsole, a TPU shank and heel bevel, and a rubber outsole with 4mm lugs and deep flex grooves. The 12" version we saw was in Mossy Oak Country DNA camo at $140, and the 6" ankle in black at $115.

Look first if: you cover ground on foot all day and find classic chore boots heavy.

Xplorer Men's Outdoor Ankle Boot ($105)

The Xplorer family is Muck's other new outdoor line. The ankle boot pairs a 3mm neoprene bootie with a breathable mesh lining and a self-cleaning rubber outsole with 4mm lugs, plus Muck's MaxFit Core footbed with a BioLite EVA top layer. The black ankle version was $105; the 12" Xplorer runs $115 to $120 depending on color.

Look first if: you want a quick pull-on for the woodpile, dog walks and yard jobs that still has a proper lugged sole.

Rainscape Men's 12" Adjustable Rain Boot ($120)

The Rainscape line now has a men's tall boot. It's vulcanized rubber rather than neoprene, with a back buckle you can loosen or tighten for a roomier or snugger calf, a molded PU insert with memory foam and a slip-resistant outsole. Muck pitches it for raised beds and the farmer's market alike. Sizes run 5 to 15.

Look first if: you want a classic rubber rain boot for the garden and like an adjustable calf.

Big Kids' Chore Western Boot ($70)

A Chore boot made to look like a cowboy boot: square toe, pull-on side straps and a saddle vamp. Muck says the lower lug profile won't catch in stirrups, and it keeps the waterproof neoprene, rubber overlays and quadruple heel reinforcement. Big kids' sizes run 1 to 7.

Look first if: you've got a young rider or barn helper who's outgrown toddler boots.

What to Know Before You Buy

Shipping: free on orders of $99 or more within the contiguous U.S.; Alaska and Hawaii pay a flat fee per pair. Muck says online orders typically ship within one to two business days. The site ships within the U.S. only.

Returns: free on U.S. orders over $99, within 30 days of purchase, in new and unused condition with proof of purchase. Try new boots on indoors, on carpet, before they ever see mud.

Warranty: a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing flaws, defective materials and workmanship, and 6 months of waterproof coverage for boots with Muck waterproof construction.

Sizing: the men's styles here come in whole sizes, mostly 7 to 15. Check each page's sizing notes before ordering.

What We Like and What to Watch

What we like

  • Clear, specific material lists on every new boot.
  • Real variety: tall insulated, U.S.-assembled, lightweight, rain and kids'.
  • Most new pairs clear the $99 free-shipping-and-returns line on their own.
  • Rated safety toe options on the Chore Classic USA.

What to watch

  • The Woodland Pro, Outmax, Xplorer and Chore Classic USA are men's styles.
  • Whole sizes only on many boots.
  • Returns must be unworn, so you can't test them outside.
  • Some colors and sizes were already selling through when we checked.

Who Should Shop the New Arrivals

Good fit: hunters and landowners eyeing the Woodland Pro, farm workers who want the Chore in a U.S.-assembled build, and anyone who has found classic chore boots too heavy for walking. Maybe wait: if you need half sizes, since many of these boots come in whole sizes only. Women shopping the New collection will find a different mix, including the Originals Women's Ankle Boot, the Muckster II Women's Mid and women's Rainscape styles.

How to Save

  • Keep the order at $99 or more for free shipping and free returns. Every boot in the comparison table except the $70 kids' Western clears it alone; the kids' boot or the $60 clog needs a small add-on.
  • Compare colors: prices can differ by colorway on the same model.
  • We didn't find a public promo code on Muck's site. For anything current, check today's Muck Boot codes.

FAQ

What's the difference between the two Woodland Pro boots?

The insulated version adds 400G PrimaLoft Gold insulation and costs $190; the standard version is $175. Both share the 5mm neoprene bootie, fleece lining and Leaf Spring System.

Is the Chore Classic USA made in America?

Muck lists it as "Assembled in the USA."

Outmax or Xplorer?

Both use 3mm neoprene and 4mm lugs. The Outmax adds a TPU shank, heel bevel and flex grooves for a more athletic, made-to-move feel; the Xplorer ankle is the lower-priced of the two.

Will kids' boots get stuck in stirrups?

Muck says the Big Kids' Chore Western has a lower lug profile designed not to catch. If price matters for a growing child, browse current Muck Boot offers first.

Final Verdict

Muck's New collection isn't just new colors. It adds a cushioned, tall Woodland Pro for long days afield, a U.S.-assembled Chore Classic with rated toe options, two lighter outdoor families for people who walk more than they stand, a men's adjustable rain boot and a Western-style kids' boot. Match the boot to how you spend your day outside, keep the order over $99 so returns stay free, and try everything on indoors first.
