What to check when buying tea and drink mixes

• Form. Loose leaf, pyramid bags, paper bags and instant powders are different products at different price points, and the brewing equipment you own decides which is practical.
• Ingredient list on blends. A chai or latte mix is often mostly sugar or milk powder, with tea further down the list. The order tells you what you are actually buying.
• Caffeine content, stated or implied by the base. Herbal infusions are usually caffeine-free; anything built on black tea or matcha is not.
• Servings per pack, which is the only fair way to compare price between formats.
• Packed or best-before date. Tea does not spoil but it does fade, and green teas and matcha lose character fastest.
• Packaging. Resealable, opaque and airtight preserves flavour; a loose paper pouch does not.
• Allergens, particularly milk and nut ingredients in latte-style mixes.

Store away from heat, light, moisture and strong smells — tea takes on odours from a cupboard readily. Buy smaller quantities more often rather than a large pack that fades before you finish it.

Before you order

• Compare the total at checkout, not the listed price. Shipping and tax appear at the final step, and on a cross-border order duties are added later again.
• Check the delivery estimate against when you actually need the item, especially for a gift.
• Read the return terms for the specific item. Sale and personalised items are the ones most often excluded.
• Check the product page specification rather than the category description — size, fit and compatibility details live there.
• Keep the packaging until you are sure, since most brands require original condition for a return.

How we list Kola Goodies offers

We collect publicly available Kola Goodies offers on one page and link straight through to the brand. We do not invent codes and we do not publish discount figures we cannot see — where an offer has no stated amount, it is listed as a deal rather than a percentage.
