Joinform Questions Answered 2026: 12 Things to Know Before You Join FORM

Somewhere between the third Instagram ad and the second "is it worth it?" thread, you probably still have questions. How much does it really cost after the intro price? Can you cancel? Is it just Pilates? Do the leggings run small? And what's the deal with returns?
Olivia Reviews collected the twelve questions people most often ask before joining FORM (the workout platform and activewear brand at joinform.com) and answered each one from the brand's own pages: its FAQ, checkout page, programs and trainers pages, product listings, shipping page and two return policies. Everything below was checked on October 20, 2026.
Quick take: FORM is a subscription workout app led by Sami Clarke with a 7-day free trial, one all-access plan billed monthly or yearly, and an activewear shop with its own rules. The membership is the easy part. The shop is where the fine print lives: free US shipping starts at $250, sale items are final, and the refund window is short. See today's Joinform deals before you commit to either.
Part 1: The Membership
1. What exactly is FORM, and why is the site called Joinform?
FORM is the brand; joinform.com is where it lives. The company describes FORM as "your digital platform for all things fitness, wellness, and self-love." In practice it's two businesses under one roof: a streaming workout membership you use in the FORM app, and a shop selling sports bras, leggings, shorts, sweats and accessories. The store lists its home as Oceanside, California.
2. How much does a membership cost?
There are two numbers to know. FORM's FAQ lists the standard prices as $28 a month or $180 a year. The membership listings in the shop showed introductory pricing on October 20, 2026: the first 37 days of the monthly plan for $22, then $28 a month, and the annual plan at $138.99 for the first year plus a bonus week, which the listing says works out to about $12 a month. Intro prices can change at any time, so check the listing on the day you join.
3. Is there a free trial?
Yes. FORM's checkout page lists a 7-day free trial. Set a reminder for day six if you're not sure you'll stay.
4. How many workouts are there, really?
This one has two answers on the same site. The current membership listing and checkout page say 1,200+ on-demand workouts across Pilates, strength, HIIT, sculpt, weights and pregnancy-safe programs, with new sessions every week. The older FAQ entry says "over 200+ workouts." We'd lean on the newer listing, but either way, the library is far larger than one person gets through in a year.

5. What else comes with the membership?
According to the listing, one plan unlocks everything, "with no tiers and no hidden content":
- Weekly schedules that tell you what to do each day. The FAQ says you can ignore them and use Search and Filter instead.
- Monthly programs of 7 to 30 days, plus quarterly challenges with fresh workouts and recipes.
- A nutrition hub with recipes, meal plans and grocery guides. The FAQ says the recipes are dietitian-approved.
- Guided meditations and affirmations from Roxie Nafousi.
- Community, including city-based WhatsApp groups for members.
- First access to new FORM activewear drops.

6. Who are the trainers?
FORM's trainers page names four:
- Sami Clarke, co-founder, with certifications in Mat Pilates and ISSA Fitness among others listed, leading Pilates, strength circuits, HIIT and her signature 30-minute workouts.
- Brynley Joyner, described as a certified fitness trainer and sports nutritionist, who runs the monthly gym programs.
- Calyn Brooke, a NASM certified personal trainer with pre- and postnatal certification, who leads at-home Pilates and strength plus the prenatal programming.
- Grace Freyre, whose classes are barre-inspired sculpt sessions set to music.
7. I'm a beginner. Is it too advanced?
The FAQ says FORM has workouts for beginners as well as advanced classes. The programs page shows the spread: Back to the Gym is a 4-week plan with four 45-minute workouts a week using dumbbells, a barbell and a bench, aimed at women who already work out but want confidence in the gym, while Advanced Mat Pilates is a 2-week program for people ready to level up. In between, you can filter by style and length. Classes run from 10-minute flows to longer gym sessions. If you have any medical concerns, speak with a qualified professional before starting a new program.
8. Do I need a gym or equipment?
No gym required. FORM's FAQ says all you need to start is yourself and a mat. It recommends a booty band, 3β15 lb dumbbells and ankle weights to get more out of the library, and points to a set of Equipment Free workouts. The checkout page also says you can stream anywhere or download classes for offline use, handy for flights and weak hotel Wi-Fi.
9. How do I cancel?
The monthly listing says you can cancel anytime. The FAQ explains that the steps depend on how you signed up and links to a dedicated cancellation page. Check which way you joined before you need it.

Part 2: The Activewear Shop
10. What is the activewear made of, and how does it fit?
Most of FORM's bras, leggings, shorts and tanks list the same fabric: 75% polyester and 25% spandex, with "gentle cycle wash with like colors" as the care line. That shared fabric is why colors and pieces mix so easily. Fit notes are printed on every page:
- Most bras, leggings and shorts are "designed true to size," with a bust and underbust chart for tops and a waist chart for bottoms.
- Tanks with built-in bras, like the V Layered Tank, are "designed for a fitted look," and FORM suggests sizing up if you're between sizes.
- Bras carry support and coverage labels, and many list a cup range.

Two examples from October 20: the V-Neck Bra in Black/White ($68), FORM's update of its Y Bra with thicker straps and contrast binding, medium support, cups AβG, sizes XSβXL (M was sold out). And the Track Legging in Navy/White ($92), a low-rise, straight-leg style with contrast stripes down the side seams and a 34" inseam, much longer than the 27" Core Leggings. Only XL was left in that color.

Shorter-length fans should know about the Core Shorts 3" ($74), a shorter cut of the Core Shorts in XSβXL. Walnut had the widest size range when we checked.

11. How long does shipping take, and is it free?
FORM's shipping policy says simply: "Please allow 7-10 days for shipping!" The site banner lists free US shipping on orders of $250 or more, with exclusions. FORM also ships internationally, and its FAQ warns that depending on your local carrier you may owe customs fees on delivery.
12. What's the return policy?
Read this one twice, because FORM has two pages that overlap:
- Refunds: 14 days from receiving your item, unworn, with tags, in original packaging, with proof of purchase. Request the return first; parcels sent back without a request aren't accepted.
- Store credit or exchange: the return page allows up to 30 days.
- Not returnable: sale items, all Last Chance purchases, gift cards, and international orders.
- Return shipping is on you unless you bought Free Returns at checkout, and shipping costs aren't refunded.
- Exchanges: the refund policy says the fastest route is to return the item and place a new order.

Part 3: Saving Money
Bonus: Is there a promo code or referral offer?
We didn't find a public promo code on joinform.com. The ongoing perk is the referral program: every new member you refer gets 20% off an annual membership, and you earn a $20 credit to shop FORM for each new subscription. Its terms say referrers must be US residents aged 18 or over. FORM's FAQ also mentions a Black Friday code from past seasons that monthly members could use to switch to annual, but nothing had been announced for 2026 when we checked, and we won't guess. For anything live today, compare current Joinform offers.
Bonus: Can I gift a membership with a FORM gift card?
No. The digital gift card ($25 to $500, delivered by email) can only be used in the FORM shop, not for the app.
