Joinform Lineup Compared 2026: Every FORM Legging, Short and Pant by Inseam

Joinform Lineup Compared 2026: Every FORM Legging, Short and Pant by Inseam

Lay four pairs of FORM bottoms side by side on the bed and they look like cousins. Same clean logo, same tight color palette, the same rich ruby, navy and espresso. Then pick up a tape measure. One pair stops at 16.75 inches. One runs to 34. One has a fold-over waistband in a fabric that feels like a T-shirt; another is a 100% cotton waffle knit with pockets.

FORM, the workout platform and activewear brand at joinform.com, now sells more than a dozen bottom silhouettes, and the names don't always tell you how they differ. Olivia Reviews compared every legging, short and pant listed on October 27, 2026, using the inseams, rises, fabrics and size runs printed on each product page, so you can pick by what you'll actually do in them.

Quick take: Choose the Core Leggings ($88) for an everyday high-rise legging with the widest size run, the Capri Leggings ($78) for a cropped length, the Track Legging ($92) for a low-rise straight leg with side stripes, and the Fold Over Leggings ($92) for a soft modal lounge pair. For shorts, Core Shorts come in 3" and 5" ($74). Off duty, the Waffle Straight Leg Pant ($112) is the cozy one. Before you order, see today's Joinform deals.

How FORM Builds Its Bottoms

Before comparing styles, it helps to know FORM's fabrics, because they decide how a piece feels, how it fits and how you wash it. The product pages list five:

  • 75% polyester, 25% spandex. The activewear fabric behind the Core Leggings, Capri Leggings, Drawstring Legging, Track Legging and Core Shorts. FORM calls it "soft, supportive."
  • 90% modal, 10% spandex. The "buttery soft" fabric in the new Fold Over Leggings and Fold Over Shorts.
  • 75% viscose, 25% polyamide. Used for the Low Rise Straight Leg Pant.
  • 100% cotton thermal knit. The Waffle Straight Leg Pant.
  • 100% cotton lightweight fleece. The Drawstring Mini Shorts.

Sizing is shared across the line. FORM's charts list waist ranges of 22–24 inches for XS, 25–27 for S, 28–30 for M, 31–33 for L and 34–36 for XL. A few styles go further, with XXL at 37–39 and XXXL at 39–42. Every bottom we checked is "designed true to size."

The Full-Length Leggings

Core Leggings ($88)

Core Leggings in Black: extra high-rise, 27-inch inseam. Image: FORM.

This is FORM's base legging, and it has the deepest color list at full price: Black, Walnut, Navy, Espresso, Cherry, Ruby and Moss. FORM describes an extra high-rise waistband "designed to stay in place during movement," no front rise seam for a "second-skin feel," and a full length that hits at the ankle. The inseam is 27 inches, and sizes run from XS to XXXL.

Drawstring Legging ($92 full price)

The same 27-inch length and XS–XXXL size run as the Core, with two changes: a straight waistband, which FORM says is updated from the Core's, and a self-fabric drawstring you can tighten. There's a small FORM logo at the hip. Several colorways were marked down and tagged final sale when we checked, and FORM doesn't accept returns on sale items, so be sure of your size first.

Track Legging ($92)

Track Legging in Ruby/Navy: low rise, straight leg, contrast stripes. Image: FORM.

The outlier in the activewear line. Instead of a high waist, it's low-rise, with a seamless front rise, contrast stripes down the side seams and a straight leg rather than a skinny one. At 34 inches, it has the longest inseam of any FORM legging. The Ruby/Navy colorway was down to XL only when we looked, so it may be a "watch for a restock" pick.

Fold Over Leggings ($92)

New for fall, and in a different fabric: 90% modal, 10% spandex. FORM calls them "a reimagined version of our classic fold-over pants," with a fold-over waistband you can wear high or rolled down and a fitted silhouette "designed for lounging and everyday movement." The listed inseam is 33 inches. Espresso was in stock in XS to XL when we checked, while Navy was listed as pre-order.

The Cropped Option: Capri Leggings ($78)

Capri Leggings in Black: the Core waistband in a 16.75-inch length. Image: FORM.

If full-length leggings bunch at your ankles, or you like seeing your sneakers, this is FORM's answer. The Capri uses the Core Leggings' signature waistband, a smooth front and back rise, and a high-rise fit, cut to a 16.75-inch inseam. It comes in Black, Navy and Espresso, in XS to XL, and it's the least expensive legging in the full-price lineup.

The Shorts

Core Shorts, 3" or 5" ($74)

Core Shorts 5" in Black: high-rise, above the belly button. Image: FORM.

FORM's bike short comes in two inseams at the same price. Both sit high, above the belly button, with a seamless front rise. The 5" runs from XS to XXXL; the 3" runs from XS to XL. Pick the 5" for more coverage on mat days and squats, or the 3" for warm studios and running in place. Black, Navy, Espresso, Walnut and Cherry appear in both lengths.

Fold Over Shorts ($74)

The modal sibling of the Fold Over Leggings: a fitted mini short with a fold-over waistband, fixed ruching at the sides and a seamless front rise. The inseam is just 2¾ inches, so these are for lounging more than lunges. Ruby and Espresso were in stock in all sizes.

Drawstring Mini Shorts ($72)

A different idea altogether: 100% cotton lightweight fleece, a mid-rise that sits just below the belly button, a self-tie drawstring and a 2-inch inseam. Cream, Butter Stripe and Ruby Stripe were listed. Think of them as the short you pull on after class.

The Off-Duty Pants

Waffle Straight Leg Pant ($112)

The coziest bottom in the shop. It's a mid-weight thermal knit in 100% cotton, with an elastic waistband, a self drawstring, side seam pockets and a relaxed straight leg. FORM says it has the same fit as its Straight Leg Sweatpants. The inseam is 29 inches. Ruby was available in every size; Espresso and Glacier were down to a few.

Low Rise Straight Leg Pant ($82)

A slimmer lounge pant in viscose and polyamide: low rise, a drawcord waistband, a fitted thigh and a straight leg from the knee down, with a 33-inch inseam. Navy was available in XS to XL.

Washing Them Isn't One-Size-Fits-All

The care labels differ more than the photos suggest:

  • Polyester and spandex styles (Core, Capri, Drawstring, Core Shorts): a gentle cycle with like colors.
  • Modal styles (Fold Over Leggings and Shorts): cold water, inside out, gentle cycle, no bleach; tumble dry low if needed.
  • Cotton fleece (Drawstring Mini Shorts): machine wash cold with like colors, non-chlorine bleach only, tumble dry low.
  • Waffle, Low Rise and Track: "simply toss it in with like colors," according to the labels.

Ordering Notes

  • Shipping: FORM's shipping policy asks you to allow 7–10 days. The site banner listed free US shipping on orders of $250 or more, with exclusions.
  • Returns: 14 days after you receive your item, for domestic orders only. Items must be unworn, with tags and in their original packaging. Start a return by emailing support@joinform.com.
  • No returns on sale items or gift cards, and international orders aren't eligible.
  • No direct exchanges: return the first item and buy the new size separately.
  • Pre-order: the Navy Fold Over Leggings were listed as pre-order, so expect them to ship later than in-stock pieces.

What We Like and What to Watch

What we like

  • Every page lists inseam, waist range and fabric, so comparing is easy.
  • Real variety: three rises, five fabrics and inseams from 2 to 34 inches.
  • Core Leggings, Core Shorts 5" and the Drawstring Legging go up to XXXL.
  • The matching palette means a new pair works with bras and tops you already own.

What to watch

  • Most newer styles stop at XL.
  • Marked-down colors are final sale.
  • Popular colorways sell through; the Track Legging was down to one size.
  • A short, domestic-only return window.

Which One Should You Buy?

  • One pair for every workout: Core Leggings.
  • You want to adjust the waist: Drawstring Legging.
  • Low rise, longer leg, a bit of sport: Track Legging.
  • Warm studios or tall sneakers: Capri Leggings or Core Shorts 3".
  • The softest thing for the couch: Fold Over Leggings or Shorts.
  • Cold mornings and coffee runs: Waffle Straight Leg Pant.

FORM Bottoms FAQ

Which FORM legging is the longest?

The Track Legging, at a 34-inch inseam. The Fold Over Leggings are next at 33 inches; the Core and Drawstring are 27.

What's the difference between Core and Drawstring Leggings?

Both have an extra high rise, a 27-inch inseam and the same fabric. The Drawstring has a straight waistband with a self-fabric drawstring and a logo at the hip.

Which bottoms come in XXL and XXXL?

Among the styles we checked: Core Leggings, Drawstring Legging and Core Shorts 5".

Can I exchange for a different size?

Not directly. FORM asks you to return the item within 14 days and place a new order. Sale items can't be returned.

Final Verdict

FORM's bottoms look alike in photos, but the numbers on each page tell them apart quickly. If you only buy one pair, the Core Leggings remain the safest choice for sizes and colors. Then add by use: the Capri or a Core Short for heat, the Track for a straight-leg look, and the modal or waffle pieces for everything after class. Measure your waist, pick your inseam and check today's Joinform offers before you check out.
