HiZoo Pricing Explained: Single, Couples and Family Bundles

HiZoo keeps its catalogue small. There are two massagers on the site, and the more expensive of the two is sold in three different bundle sizes, two of which carry a percentage-off label. If you are trying to work out which tier to order, the labels are not the most useful number to look at. The per-unit cost is.
Every figure below is taken from HiZoo's own product pages, checked on 4 October 2026. Prices change, so confirm on the store before you order. We have not independently tested either device.
The three tiers at a glance
| Tier | Units | Price | Listed “compare at” | Brand's label |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Single | 1 | $199 | $249 | — |
| Couples | 2 | $359 | $498 | 27% off |
| Family | 3 | $499 | $747 | 33% off, “best value” |
The separate Neck & Shoulder Massager, which HiZoo tags as the portable model, is listed at $149 as a single unit with no bundle options and no compare-at price.
What the percentages are measured against
This is the part worth slowing down for. The 27% and 33% figures are calculated against the compare-at price of $249 per unit, not against the $199 that a single unit actually sells for.
- Two units at the compare-at price would be $498. The Couples bundle is $359. That is a reduction of $139, or roughly 27.9% — which is where the 27% label comes from.
- Three units at the compare-at price would be $747. The Family bundle is $499, a reduction of $248, or roughly 33.2%. Again, the label checks out against the compare-at figure.
So the labels are internally consistent. They simply answer a different question from the one most shoppers are asking, which is: how much do I save by buying a bundle instead of buying singles at the price I can see on the page today?
Per-unit cost, the way it actually lands
| Tier | Cost per unit | Same quantity bought as singles | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single | $199.00 | $199 | — |
| Couples | $179.50 | $398 | $39 less |
| Family | $166.33 | $597 | $98 less |
Measured that way, the Couples bundle is about 10% cheaper per unit than buying two singles, and the Family bundle is about 16% cheaper per unit than buying three. Those are real reductions, and the Family tier genuinely is the lowest per-unit price on the site. They are just smaller than the headline labels suggest, because the labels start from a higher reference price.
When the Couples bundle makes sense
The obvious case is two people in the same household who would both use one. A neck massager is a personal-use item that sits directly against the skin, and sharing one between two people means waiting your turn and, for some households, a hygiene conversation. If you already know two people will want it, $39 off the pair is a reasonable nudge.
The less obvious case is one unit at home and one somewhere else — an office, a second home, a car. The Clinical Grade model has a stated net weight of 1.51 kg, which is not heavy in absolute terms but is heavy enough that most people will not want to carry it back and forth daily. Two fixed locations beats one travelling unit.
The case where it does not make sense is buying the second unit speculatively as a gift you have not confirmed anyone wants. At $179.50 the second unit is not an impulse-priced add-on.
When the Family bundle makes sense
Three units is a specific situation, not a general upgrade. It fits households with three adults who each want their own, or someone buying deliberately for gifting at a known occasion. It is also the tier to look at if you are buying for a small shared space — a clinic waiting area, a studio, a staff room — where more than one person may want to use one at the same time.
If you are buying the third unit only because the percentage label is the biggest, you are spending an extra $140 over the Couples tier to save $59 in per-unit terms. That only comes out ahead if the third unit is actually used.
The $149 model changes the calculation
Before committing to a multi-unit bundle of the $199 device, it is worth looking at the cheaper model, because two different devices at two different price points may suit a household better than two identical ones.
According to HiZoo's pages, the $149 Neck & Shoulder Massager has a narrower control set — two intensity levels rather than three, a single stated heat level of around 42 °C, and a choice between intermittent and continuous running rather than the three movement modes on the dearer unit. Its net weight is listed as 1.4 kg, slightly lighter, and the brand tags it as the portable one.
One Clinical Grade unit plus one portable unit comes to $348 at list price, which is $11 under the Couples bundle. You lose the bundle discount but you get a lighter second device. Whether that trade is worth it depends entirely on whether anyone in the household actually travels with it.
What the price includes
HiZoo states the following on its product pages, and these apply regardless of which tier you pick:
- A 2-year warranty.
- A 30-day return window, described by the brand as a risk-free guarantee, with returns on all orders.
- Dispatch from California and Massachusetts, with a stated delivery estimate of 3–5 business days.
- Tracking and insurance included on orders, per the brand's shipping section.
A 30-day window matters more than usual for this category, because whether a neck massager suits you is largely about fit and preferred intensity, and you cannot judge either from photographs. Order the tier you are confident about, try it within the window, and add units later if it works for you.
Three questions before you choose a tier
- How many people will realistically use one? Not how many might — how many have asked. This answers the tier question on its own in most households.
- Do you need the three movement modes? If the simpler control set is enough, the $149 model is the cheaper entry point and leaves room to add a second unit later.
- Are you inside the return window? If you are buying multiple units, work out whether you will have tested one properly before the 30 days are up on all of them.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Family bundle really the best value?
Per unit, yes — $166.33 is the lowest figure on the site. In total spend, it is the most expensive option at $499, and the saving only materialises if all three units get used.
Why is the single unit listed at $199 with $249 crossed out?
$249 is the compare-at price HiZoo lists in its own store data. The bundle percentages are calculated from that figure rather than from the $199 selling price.
Can I mix the two models in one bundle?
Not as a bundle. The tiers apply to the Clinical Grade Decompression Massager only. Buying one of each means two separate line items at their individual prices.
Does the cheaper model come in bundles too?
Not at the time of checking. The $149 Neck & Shoulder Massager is listed as a single option with no multi-unit tiers.
The bottom line
HiZoo's bundle labels are accurate against the brand's own compare-at prices, but the number that should drive your decision is per-unit cost against the price you can actually see: $199 for one, $179.50 each in the pair, $166.33 each in the three-pack. The discounts are real and the Family tier is genuinely the cheapest per unit. Just buy the number of units you will use rather than the tier with the largest percentage attached to it.
