What the differences mean in use
The gentle setting is the real gap
The decompression model starts at gentle; the simpler model starts at moderate. For anyone new to prong-style massagers, sensitive through the neck, or buying for an older relative, having a genuinely low first step matters more than having a high top end. This is the single most practical difference between the two.
Two heat levels versus one
A fixed temperature is fine if it suits you and a limitation if it does not. Two levels give you a lower option for longer sessions and for warmer rooms. If heat is the main reason you want the device, the decompression model gives you more control.
Direction control versus timing control
The decompression model lets you change the direction of movement and select a deep-tissue action. The simpler model instead lets you choose whether the action runs continuously or in bursts. These solve different problems: one varies how the massage feels, the other varies how constant it is.
