Good American Review 2026: Jeans Built for Curves, Sized 00 to 32 Plus

It's late October, the first cold snap has arrived, and you're standing in front of the closet with a familiar problem. There are four pairs of jeans in there. One was perfect two summers ago. One only works with a long sweater. One is "for when I'm smaller," and one is the pair you actually wear, which is now thinning at the knee. What you want is simple: one dependable jean, a coat that looks expensive, and a couple of tops that work from the office to dinner.

That is precisely the wardrobe Good American is trying to sell you. The Los Angeles label built its name on denim cut for curves and a size chart that keeps going where many brands stop. Olivia Reviews looked at the brand's fits, fabrics, fall pieces, prices and policies in October 2026 to see who gets the most out of it.

Quick take: Good American is a strong pick if fit has been your denim problem for years. The Always Fits system, the stated 00–32 Plus range and the habit of showing styles on three size ranges of models are real differences. The trade-offs are premium prices (most full-price jeans sit at $158–$178) and a strict 14-day return window that starts on the ship date. See today's Good American deals before you pay full price.

From a 2016 Launch to a Full Wardrobe

Good American says it started its journey in 2016 with the goal of changing how fashion treats women's bodies. The label was co-founded by KhloΓ© Kardashian and Emma Grede, as widely reported by the fashion press. Its store description sums up the pitch in three lines: all bodies, all sizes, no compromises.

What began as a denim brand now covers a whole closet. The site sells jeans in more than a dozen fit families, plus bodysuits, swim, sweats, knits, tailoring, faux leather and outerwear. On its About page, the brand says it offers quality and style "in every sizeβ€”00-32 Plus," shows every piece on models in three size ranges, and is a certified B Corporation. It works with Global-E for international orders, so shoppers outside the U.S. see prices and duties in their own currency at checkout.

Five Pieces That Explain the Brand

1. Always Fits Good Classic Bootcut Jeans β€” $168

This is the idea that sets Good American apart. Instead of a single waist size, Always Fits jeans come in bands: 00–4, 6–12, 14–18 Plus and 20–26 Plus. The brand describes the design as "one-size-fits-four" and says its power-stretch fabric delivers 100% stretch. This bootcut version is high-rise with a 32.5" inseam, a gap-proof waistband and reinforced belt loops. The fabric label lists cotton, recycled polyester, recycled cotton, Elasterell-P and elastane. For anyone who owns jeans in three sizes "just in case," the appeal is obvious.

2. Soft Tech Good True Straight Jeans β€” $168

If Always Fits is about flexibility, Soft Tech is about feel. Good American calls it "our softest denim ever," a super-stretch fabric that, on this style, is listed as 93% cotton, 5% T400 and 2% Lycra. The True Straight cut is high-rise with a 32" inseam and runs from size 00 to 22 Plus. It's the pair for people who love the look of denim but hate the stiff first week.

3. Vintage Wide Jeans β€” $158

For the denim purist, the Vintage line goes the other way: a comfort-stretch fabric of 99% cotton and 1% spandex, a relaxed fit and a floor-skimming wide leg. The brand says it feels "loved and lived-in from day one." Pair it with a fitted top and a heeled boot and it reads straight out of a 1990s photo shoot.

4. The Faux Shearling Long Coat β€” $398

This is the fall statement piece. The long faux suede coat is fully lined in plush faux shearling, with shearling trim at the collar, cuffs and two front pockets. It measures 40" from the shoulder and comes in XS to 3XL. The label lists 100% polyester and hand-wash care, so it's a coat you'll want to treat gently. It isn't cheap, but it's the kind of layer that makes a plain jean and tee look planned.

5. The Sheer Rib Turtleneck β€” $78

The supporting player you'll reach for all season. Good American describes it as an exceptionally soft rib knit with a semi-sheer finish and a relaxed, body-skimming fit, made from 65% polyester and 35% rayon. It also comes in black, pearl and grey melange, and the brand pitches it as a layer under sweaters and jackets as much as a top on its own.

What to Know Before You Buy

Shipping. Good American says orders take 1–2 days to process and most ship the day they're placed. U.S. options are Standard Ground and Expedited, and neither delivers to PO Boxes. Premium Shipping Protection is added at checkout automatically; you can opt out, but the brand says it then won't be liable for lost or stolen packages, and claims without protection go through a 4–6 business day courier investigation.

Returns. You have 14 days from the date your order shipped. Exchanges and returns for store credit are free. Refunds to your original payment carry a restocking fee: $6 at a Happy Returns Return Bar or $9 with a UPS prepaid label. Shipping charges aren't refunded. Items must be unused with tags; bodysuits and swim need their hygiene strip in place.

Final sale. Anything marked Final Sale, or discounted 50% or more, can't be returned or exchanged.

International. Orders outside the U.S. are refund-only with a USD 15 restocking fee, and original taxes and duties aren't refunded.

Warranty. We didn't find a separate product warranty on the site; issues are handled through the returns and customer care process.

The Good and the Not-So-Good

What we like

  • A stated 00–32 Plus size range and models in three size groups.
  • Always Fits bands that each cover four sizes.
  • Clear fabric labels on every product page.
  • Free exchanges and free returns for store credit.
  • A 7-day price adjustment if something you bought gets marked down.
  • Plenty of sale stock across denim, knits and sweats in October 2026.

What to watch

  • Full-price jeans mostly cost $158–$178, and coats run up to $398.
  • The 14-day return clock starts at shipping, not delivery.
  • Card refunds lose $6–$9 to the restocking fee.
  • Deep-discount and Final Sale pieces are non-returnable.
  • No public promo code was available when we checked.

Who It's For β€” and Who Should Skip

Good fit: curvy and plus-size shoppers who've given up on mainstream denim; anyone between sizes; petite and tall shoppers who want Petite and Long inseams in the same styles; and people building a capsule of jeans, knits and one great coat from a single brand.

Maybe skip: bargain hunters who want jeans under $50, shoppers who need a long return window to decide, and anyone who prefers 100% rigid denim across the board (most styles here include stretch).

How to Save at Good American

  1. Start in the Sale section. When we checked, markdowns of 25–30% were common, such as the Zip Up Sweatshirt at $103.99 (was $138).
  2. Test the fit with a $98 pair. Good Legs Straight and Skinny styles were listed at $98.
  3. Keep an eye on what you bought. If the price drops within 7 days, ask for a price adjustment (not available if you used a discount code).
  4. Return smart. Pick store credit or an exchange to avoid the restocking fee.
  5. Join the list. Email sign-up or texting GOOD to 75743 gets you the brand's "exclusive offers."
  6. Check the coupon page. We track offers on our Good American coupon page.

Good American Questions, Answered

Is Good American true to size?

Fit varies by style, so check each product page. Product pages list the model's height and the size she's wearing, and the site links to a denim fit guide; Always Fits jeans are sold in four-size bands instead of single sizes.

What's the difference between Soft Tech and Always Fits?

Soft Tech is a super-stretch fabric the brand calls its softest denim, sold in regular sizes. Always Fits uses a power-stretch fabric with 100% stretch, sold in bands such as 6–12.

Can I return a bodysuit?

Yes, within 14 days of shipping, as long as it's unused with tags and the protective hygiene strip is still attached.

Does Good American offer payment plans?

The site has information pages for Klarna and Afterpay, and its store supports Shop Pay installments.

Final Verdict

Good American isn't trying to be a cheap jean. It's trying to be the jean that finally fits, and the Always Fits bands, wide size range and detailed fabric labels back that up. Shop it for denim first, add a knit or the shearling coat if your budget allows, and lean on the sale section and the 7-day price adjustment to bring the cost down. Just put the try-on on your calendar the day the box arrives.
