GetTaxHub Questions Answered 2026: 12 Things to Know Before You Book a CPA

You've read the homepage twice. "Pay only after you file" sounds good, the CPA on the video call looks friendly, and the pricing page is refreshingly specific. But a dozen practical questions are still stacked up in your notes app, and none of them are the kind a marketing banner answers.

So Olivia Reviews answered them. We went through GetTaxHub's services and pricing pages, FAQ, calculators, locations, affiliate page and blog on October 20, 2026, and pulled out direct answers to the twelve questions people most often have before booking. Where the site doesn't say, we tell you that too.

Quick take: GetTaxHub (branded Taxhub) is an online, CPA-led tax prep service. Pricing is Γ  la carte by the forms prepared, with listed averages from $325 for a personal return to $775 for a personal-plus-business bundle, and a free 5-minute call sets a fixed price. It handles stock trading, rentals, K-1s, S-Corps and foreign-owned LLCs, and you pay after approving your return. See today's GetTaxHub deals before you book.

Please note: Olivia Reviews is not a tax adviser. This is general information about a service, not tax, legal or financial advice, and nobody can promise a particular refund or tax bill.

About the Company

1. Is GetTaxHub the same as Taxhub, and who runs it?

Yes. The site at gettaxhub.com calls itself Taxhub throughout. Its terms of service name GB Taxportunity, LLC as the operator, and the footer lists a contact address at 5 East 22nd Street in New York City. The toll-free number is 1-844-TAX-PORT.

2. Do I need to live near one of its offices?

No. GetTaxHub's locations page names Chicago, Las Vegas, New York City, Salt Lake City and Tucson, but the service itself is run online: documents are uploaded or texted in, the CPA call happens by phone or video, and you sign electronically. Its federal calculator lets you pick any state plus the District of Columbia, and the FAQ says there are no hidden state fees. If you're unsure whether your state's return is covered in your quote, ask on the free call.

About What It Can Handle

3. Which returns can it actually prepare?

According to the services page: personal returns (W-2s on Form 1040, Schedule E rentals, partnership K-1s and Schedule D), self-employed returns (Schedule C and 1099 income, including single-member LLCs), business returns (C-Corp Form 1120, S-Corp Form 1120-S and partnership Form 1065, including K-1 preparation) and combined personal-plus-business bundles. A separate page covers Form 5472 with a pro-forma Form 1120 for non-US owners of US single-member LLCs, at a flat $469.

4. I trade stocks. Can it handle that?

Yes, per the FAQ. Whether you have one brokerage account or several, and whether you're a casual trader or meet the IRS definition of a day trader, you'll need year-end brokerage statements showing the results of your trades. The FAQ notes that depending on your classification, gains may be taxed as capital gains or possibly as ordinary income, and says it covers everyone from casual traders to active day traders.

5. I own an S-Corp but my books are a mess. Is that a problem?

It's the most common hurdle, and the FAQ says so: the biggest obstacle to filing an 1120-S is having a complete income statement and, if required, a balance sheet. GetTaxHub offers three routes: it takes your own financial statements, it does the bookkeeping for you, or it provides an income-statement template to fill in, with guidance on what's deductible. Bookkeeping plans are $99, $149 or $299 a month.

About Cost

6. What does the free tax calculator cover?

The Federal Income Tax Calculator lets you choose the 2025 tax year (filed in 2026) or 2026 (filed in 2027), your filing status and your state, then fill in tabs for job and business income, other income, deductions, and adjustments and credits. GetTaxHub says it includes S-Corp and Schedule C tax, net investment income tax, capital gains, the QBI deduction and state income tax. There's also a Business Tax Calculator and an S-Corp calculator. Use the result to prepare questions, not as a final figure.

7. Will the price change after I start?

It can, but not by surprise. The FAQ explains that pricing is Γ  la carte, based on the number of forms prepared, and that the estimate from the form you fill in is adjusted if necessary once a CPA contacts you. You agree to the final fee before the return is prepared, and you pay once you've approved it. The free 5-minute call is designed to pin down your forms and a fixed price up front. The FAQ also says there are no monthly fees and no hidden state fees.

8. Is there a GetTaxHub discount code?

Olivia Reviews didn't find a public promo code on the site. The cost-cutters it does publish are the free 5-minute call, a $49 20-minute consultation for one-off questions, bundle pricing for owners who need both returns, and paying by Visa, Mastercard or PayPal instead of from your refund, which avoids a $15 bank fee. About After You File

9. What if I owe money instead of getting a refund?

The FAQ covers both directions. Whether you're getting a refund or owe the IRS, funds can move by electronic funds transfer to or from your bank account. If you'd rather pay by mail, GetTaxHub emails you the federal or state payment vouchers to print and send in with your payment.

10. How fast does a refund arrive, and how do I check it?

The FAQ says your return is ready to sign within 48 hours of the last piece of information, and that refunds by direct deposit can arrive in as little as 5 days, usually within about a week, depending on the option you choose and current IRS lead times. A mailed check takes much longer. For status, the FAQ's "Where is my refund?" answer points you to the IRS's own refund tracker.

About the Relationship

11. Can I get help outside tax season?

Yes. The brand says you keep the same CPA year after year and can reach out with questions throughout the year. Paid consultations ($49, $89 or $129) cover planning and estimates, bookkeeping runs monthly, and the blog adds reading between calls: its categories include Can I Deduct?, Landlords & Rental Properties and Self Employed & 1099 Contractors, and its newest posts, dated September 25, 2026, focus on LLC taxes.

12. Does GetTaxHub have a referral or affiliate program?

It has an affiliate program aimed at publishers with an audience of US-based business owners, freelancers or entrepreneurs. The page lists $100 per sale for every valid customer, a 45-day cookie window and sign-up through Refersion. It's a partner program, not a customer discount, and sites like this one may earn a commission when you book through their links.

Final Verdict

GetTaxHub answers most practical questions in writing: what it prepares, how prices are set, how documents travel, what happens when you owe and how long a refund takes. The remaining unknowns are specific to you, which is exactly what the free 5-minute call is for. Book it, get your fixed price, and then compare today's GetTaxHub offers before you commit.
