Eterne Questions Answered 2026: 12 Things to Know Before You Buy

A $425 pair of trousers deserves a few questions. Will the pinstripe look like a uniform or like the cover of a fashion magazine? Is it dry clean only? What if the 2 is too snug and the 4 swims? And if you order on a Friday, when does it actually arrive?
Eterne (styled ΓTERNE) answers most of these on its own site, but the answers are spread across product tabs, a long FAQ and the returns page. Olivia Reviews pulled them together on October 20, 2026, using the label's newest fall and holiday pieces as examples, into the twelve questions shoppers ask most before buying.
Quick take: Eterne is a Los Angeles label founded in 2020 by stylist ChloΓ© Bartoli. Every listing we read says "fits true to size" and names the fabric, care and country of manufacture. Orders ship within one to two business days, free on US orders over $150. Returns and exchanges run 30 days from receipt for new pieces with tags, Final Sale is final, and the 10% welcome offer works on full-price items only. See today's Eterne deals before you choose.

About the Brand and the Clothes
1. Who is behind Eterne?
Stylist ChloΓ© Bartoli, who established the label in 2020. The store describes its focus as "timeless minimal designs and perfectly fitted tailoring," and the company is based in Los Angeles. The idea is a wardrobe of pieces you reach for every week, rather than trend buys.
2. What's new for fall and holiday 2026?
Tailoring is the big story. A new black pinstripe suiting family landed on October 15, 2026, and it mixes and matches:
- Mercer Trouser ($425): relaxed, mid-rise and wide-leg, with in-seam pockets, functional back welt pockets, a zip fly and contrast pocket lining.
- Royce Pant ($425): fitted, low-rise and flared, with slanted pockets.
- Yale Vest ($295): a fitted halter-neck vest with a button front, faux welt pockets and an adjustable D-ring at the open back.
- Charlotte Blouse ($445): a lightweight, slightly sheer tie-neck blouse with ruffled cuffs, in ivory or black.
Wear the vest and a trouser as a suit for dinner, then split them up: the vest over a white tee, the trouser with a knit.

3. What are the new pieces made of?
Each listing has a Fabric tab. On the pieces we checked:
- The pinstripe suiting (Mercer, Royce, Yale) is 70% polyester, 30% viscose, dry clean only.
- The Charlotte Blouse is 100% viscose, dry clean only.
- The Reese Sweater ($465), a slim, slightly cropped button-front cardigan, is 100% cashmere, dry clean only.
- The Ford Top ($575), a relaxed, unisex-feel snap-front shirt, is 100% washed cotton flannel plaid with mother-of-pearl buttons.
- The Benson Pant ($325) in army green is 100% cotton twill with a 31-inch inseam.
4. Where is it made?
It varies by piece, and each listing says. All of the new pieces above are listed as made in China. Elsewhere in the catalog, some cotton, French terry and modal pieces are listed as made in the USA, so check the Fabric tab if it matters to you.

About Fit and Care
5. How does sizing work on the tailoring?
The trousers use numeric sizes 0 to 12, while the vest and blouse use XS to XL and the cashmere uses paired sizes (XS/S, M/L, L/XL). Every listing we read says the piece fits true to size and gives the model's height and size: the 5'11.5" model wears a 2 in both the Mercer and Royce, and an S in the Yale Vest and Charlotte Blouse. On the Benson Pant, the 5'10" model wears a 4.
If you're torn between two trouser sizes, consider the cut. The Mercer is relaxed by design; the Royce is fitted.
6. Which pieces can I wash at home?
Of the new arrivals above, the Benson Pant is the easiest: machine wash cold with like colors, tumble dry low. The Ford Top goes on a delicate cold cycle and dries flat or tumbles low if needed. The suiting, the Charlotte Blouse and the Reese cashmere are all dry clean only, so factor that in if you'd wear them weekly.

About Orders and Delivery
7. How fast does an order ship?
Eterne's FAQ says all orders ship within one to two business days of confirmation, and weekend orders are processed on Monday. Need it sooner? UPS Next Day Air is available for orders placed before 12pm PST, but there's no Saturday delivery, so a next-day order placed on Friday arrives the following Monday. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout by size and weight, and US orders over $150 ship free.
8. Do they ship outside the US?
Yes, to most locations, by DHL within three to five business days. Duties and taxes are estimated and paid at checkout, and customs can add delays. The catch: international returns aren't accepted.
9. What are preorders, and how do they ship?
Some pieces are sold before they arrive at the warehouse. The product page shows an estimated ship date, and the item ships as soon as it arrives. If your order mixes in-stock and preorder pieces, they may ship separately, each with its own tracking email.
10. What if my package goes missing?
According to the FAQ, if a parcel never shows as "Delivered" in USPS or UPS tracking, it counts as lost and Eterne will replace the item or refund you. Once tracking marks it delivered, responsibility passes to the customer, and the brand says it isn't liable for stolen packages. Choose a delivery address where someone can bring the box in.
About Returns and Paying Less
11. Can I return or exchange it?
Within 30 days of receiving it, for a refund or exchange, as long as the piece is new and unused with all original tags attached. Return shipping is deducted from refunds, and Eterne isn't responsible for return parcels lost in transit, so use a tracked service. Items marked Final Sale can't be refunded, exchanged or turned into store credit. And orders can't be changed or cancelled once they reach the shipping team.

12. Is there a discount, and how do I pay?
The site footer reads "Join the list + 10% off your first purchase." Under the FAQ, discount codes apply to full-price merchandise only, and marked-down styles are excluded. Eterne accepts major credit cards plus Amazon Pay, Apple Pay and Shop Pay, and its footer links a Klarna FAQ. For anything beyond the welcome offer, compare current Eterne offers.

Most questions about Eterne have clear answers if you know where to look: the Fabric tab for materials, care and origin; the model's size for fit; the FAQ for shipping, preorders and lost parcels. Read those three before you check out, keep the tags on until you're sure, and the new pinstripe tailoring becomes a much easier yes. Browse Eterne deals first.
