Coucou Intimates Review 2026: One Organic Fiber, a Whole Romantic Wardrobe

Coucou Intimates Review 2026: One Organic Fiber, a Whole Romantic Wardrobe

Turn over the care label on most underwear and you'll find a familiar list: nylon, polyester, elastane, in different percentages. Then turn over a Coucou Intimates label. It's one line: 100% organic cotton. For a brand that makes balconettes, slip dresses and lace-trimmed boxers, that's an unusual promise to build a whole company on.

Olivia Reviews spent time on the brand's US store in October 2026, reading fit notes, materials pages, dollar prices and the return policy, to see how that one-fiber idea plays out across a full wardrobe of intimates and loungewear.

Quick take: Coucou is for shoppers who want natural-fiber intimates with a vintage-romantic look: picot edges, petite bows, pointelle you'll want to show off. US prices start around $26 for a brief. Automatic bundle discounts and included duties help. The 14-day return window and the $8 fee on cash refunds don't.

A London Brand With a Single-Fiber Rulebook

Coucou Intimates (the label writes it "Cou Cou") was founded by Rose Colcord in 2021, according to its About page. The store lists London as home. The brand calls itself a philosophy of "doing less, better," meaning fewer, better-made pieces meant to be worn on repeat. It's a certified B Corp and a member of 1% for the Planet, and its product pages say 1% of every order goes to environmental and social initiatives at no extra cost to the buyer.

The materials page explains the sourcing. The cotton is grown organically in the Izmir region of TΓΌrkiye. Trims and threads are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, and metal parts are nickel-free. The pieces we looked at were made in Portugal or Morocco. Packaging follows the same thinking: FSC-certified paper, organic cotton tag strings and cornstarch-based PLA garment bags.

Six Coucou Pieces, Up Close

The Bateau: White Pointelle ($84)

If you only buy one Coucou piece to wear outside the house, this is a strong candidate. It's a classic boat-neck top with elegant long sleeves, finished with the picot edging that shows up across the line. The brand says it runs true to size and suggests sizing up if you're between sizes. Made in Portugal from 100% organic cotton pointelle.

The Pant: White Pointelle ($118)

The Pant: straight leg, elastic waist, three petite buttons. Image: Coucou Intimates.

Coucou pitches these as the comfiest pants you'll never want to take off, "for game night with the girls." They have a classic straight leg, an elasticated waistband and three small buttons at center front. Fit advice is unusually specific: true to size, but size up for the intended oversized look or down for something more fitted. Made in Morocco.

The Cami Slip: White Pointelle ($90)

A '90s-style mini slip with a slight V-neck, delicate straps and a subtle flare at the hem. Sizing depends on height, the brand says. If you're between sizes and under 5'9", size down. If you're taller, or want a more modest length, size up. It works for sleep, for summer evenings, or under that Bateau. Made in Portugal.

The Boxer: White French Poplin ($72)

"No longer borrowed from the boys," says the product page. These relaxed, low-rise boxers come in organic cotton French poplin trimmed with floral French lace, with a soft-covered elastic waistband. They fit true to size, and you can size up for a looser feel. Made in Morocco.

The Pajama Shirt: Coucou x Sandy Liang ($120)

A limited-edition collaboration with designer Sandy Liang. It's a classic button-up pajama shirt in organic French poplin, with French lace at the collar and cuffs and a soft pink "Sweet Dreams" print. The relaxed fit means your usual size should work, or size down for a closer fit. The matching Pajama Pant is also $120.

The Everyday Sock: Multi ($42)

The one exception to the all-cotton rule, and the brand says so: these baby-rib socks with a scalloped edge are 85% organic cotton, 13% polyamide and 2% elastane. The three-color set was $42, down from $48, in sizes S/M and M/L. They're an easy way to try the brand, or to reach the free-shipping threshold.

Yes, if you love natural fibers, romantic details and coordinated sets, or you want loungewear that can pass for daywear. It's also a thoughtful gift brand: the cardigan, pajamas and socks are pretty without being overtly lingerie.

Maybe not, if you rely on stretchy synthetic fabrics for shaping or sports, need a long return window, or usually spend well under $150 per order.

Coucou Intimates: Your Questions

Is everything really 100% organic cotton?

The garments we checked were listed as 100% organic cotton pointelle, jersey or French poplin. The socks are the exception, at 85% organic cotton with polyamide and elastane.

Which Coucou pieces run small?

The brand says The High Rise brief runs slightly small, and it recommends sizing up on The Cardigan. The Pant, Bateau and Boxer are listed as true to size.

Are prices on the US site in dollars?

Yes. The US store shows USD prices with duties and taxes included.

Does Coucou have a coupon code?

Olivia Reviews didn't find a public code in October 2026. The bundle builders are the built-in discount. For new offers, see Coucou Intimates coupons and deals.

The Verdict

Coucou Intimates turns a simple rule, one organic fiber, into a wardrobe with a lot of personality: pointelle sets, lace-edged boxers and a Sandy Liang collaboration. It isn't a budget way to fill an underwear drawer, but the bundle builders and included duties make it much easier on US shoppers. Build a set, aim for $150, and check the newest Coucou Intimates offers first.
