BURGA Case Types Compared 2026: Snap, Tough, Elite, Mirror, Puffy or Crystals?

You've found the design. It's Sweater Weather, red and navy plaid, and it looks like a winter scarf wrapped around a phone. You tap your iPhone model, scroll down and hit the real decision: Tough (MagSafe), Elite Dark (MagSafe), Elite Light (MagSafe), Elite Mirror Dark, Elite Mirror Light, and then a second row asking whether you want gold, gunmetal or silver details. Five case types and three finishes, all for the same plaid.
That menu is where most BURGA shoppers stall, and it's also where the price can jump by $30. Olivia Reviews lined up every case type BURGA sells in October 2026, including Snap, Elite Puffy and Elite Crystals, and compared what each one is made of, what it costs on different phones and what it can't do.
Quick take: Snap is the thinnest and least expensive shell, sold on older models. Tough is the everyday dual-layer case at $59.95 on recent iPhones. Elite ($84.95โ$89.95 on most current phones) adds BURGA's CloudGuard layer, side grip, a microfibre lining and strap sockets, and Elite Mirror gives it a glossy finish at the same price. Elite Puffy is the squishy one but skips MagSafe and wireless charging. Elite Crystals is the $199 Swarovski edition. Whatever you pick, see today's BURGA deals first, because the brand's case offers apply across types.
Why BURGA Splits One Design into So Many Cases
BURGA prints the same artwork on several case constructions so you choose the design first and the build second. The brand also splits finishes: on Elite cases, "Dark" and "Light" editions change the look of the case around the print, and the Case Details Color option sets the finish of the camera surround and hardware in gold, gunmetal or silver. Not every combination exists for every phone. On the iPhone 17 Pro, for example, Elite Light came in gold or silver only, while Elite Dark offered all three.
The Six Case Types, One by One
Snap: The Slim Original

BURGA describes Snap as a one-piece hard shell, ultra-thin, sleek and lightweight, with raised bezels around the camera. Its own one-line pitch: "For those who like the original shape of their phone." It's the entry price, too. The Velvet Night case for the iPhone XR was $34.95 as a Snap, against $49.95 as a Tough. Two catches: Snap appears on select older models only, and BURGA's Hook Card strap system isn't compatible with Snap cases.
Tough: The Everyday Default

Tough is a dual-layer case: a silicone interior and a hard-shell exterior that covers the phone all the way around, with a raised bezel for the screen, raised edges around the camera and what BURGA calls a slim profile that's comfortable to hold. On iPhones from the 12 to the 18 lineup, it's sold as Tough (MagSafe) at $59.95. On Android phones such as the Galaxy S26 Ultra or Pixel 10 Pro it's listed as Tough (Magnetic), also $59.95. Older or smaller-market models, like the iPhone SE (2022) and Galaxy A55, get a plain Tough at $49.95.
Elite: The Flagship

Elite is where BURGA puts its technical language. The brand lists six features: shock absorption from its CloudGuard technology, which BURGA says "absorbs up to 90% of impact force"; a dot-pattern finish on the sides for grip; raised bezels around the screen and camera for flat drops; a microfibre interior lining; anti-fade printing; and built-in sockets that make it easy to attach a phone charm or strap. The impact figure is BURGA's own claim, not an independent measurement.
Pricing depends on the phone. Olivia Reviews saw Elite at $89.95 for the iPhone 16, 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max, Air and 18 Pro; $84.95 for the iPhone 12, 13 and 14 and the Galaxy S26 Ultra; and $79.95 for the Galaxy S24. Older stock can be discounted: the iPhone 11 Elite was $59.95, down from $79.95.
Elite Mirror: Same Build, Glossy Finish

BURGA lists exactly the same features for Elite Mirror as for Elite, including CloudGuard and the strap sockets, and adds a glossy, reflective finish. On every model we checked, Mirror cost the same as the regular Elite, so the choice is purely about look: matte and printed, or shiny and reflective. Mirror also comes in Dark and Light editions.
Elite Puffy: The Squishy One

Inspired, BURGA says, by puffer coats and bags, Elite Puffy has a soft, bouncy texture built on the Elite base with CloudGuard and raised bezels. It's made of TPU, TPE and PC, and the brand's care note is simple: wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. The important limit is printed right on the product page: Elite Puffy cases are not MagSafe or wireless charging compatible. BURGA lists Puffy for the iPhone 14 Pro through 17 Pro Max, the iPhone Air and the Galaxy S25 and S26 Ultra. The Pilates design was $84.95 for the iPhone 16 Pro and $79.95 for the iPhone 15 Pro, and several Puffy versions showed as sold out when we checked.
Elite Crystals: The Jewelry Edition

BURGA calls Elite Crystals its most premium case, finished with Crystals by Swarovskiยฎ, and says the crystals are genuine Austrian crystals crafted in Swarovski's historic ateliers. Underneath, it keeps the Elite feature list. Every Crystals listing we saw, across Cameo, After Dark and Dazzle Me for iPhone 15 to 17 models, was $199.

What Stays the Same Across Every Type
- Warranty: BURGA's warranty table lists 1 year for Tough and Elite phone cases and 6 months for Snap. It covers defects, not drops and falls, and approved claims are replaced with the same model and style rather than refunded. You'll need at least one high-resolution photo or video of the defect.
- Returns: contact BURGA within 30 days of receiving your order. Personalized cases can't be exchanged or refunded unless they have a manufacturer's defect.
- Shipping: up to 2โ3 business days of processing, then Standard US delivery in 7โ15 business days ($8.95, free over $100), Priority in 3โ5 or Express in 2โ3. Duties are covered.
- The case deal: "Buy 4 phone cases, pay for 2" applies automatically. The two lowest-priced cases in every four are the free ones, so mixing Elite and Tough cases means the Tough ones become the free pair. For anything newer, check our BURGA coupons page.
What We Like and What to Watch

- Every design comes in several builds, so you don't have to give up a print to get the protection you want.
- Elite and Elite Mirror cost the same, which makes the finish a free choice.
- Elite has strap sockets built in, no insert needed.
- Tough (Magnetic) and Elite (Magnetic) bring magnetic versions to recent Samsung models.
What to watch
- Elite Puffy gives up MagSafe and wireless charging.
- Snap has a shorter 6-month warranty and doesn't work with the strap system.
- Not every type, finish or detail color exists for every phone.
- CloudGuard's 90% figure is a brand claim, and drops aren't covered by the warranty.
Which BURGA Case Type Should You Choose?

- Choose Elite Crystals when the case is the gift.

Final Verdict
For most people, the choice comes down to Tough or Elite. Tough covers the basics with MagSafe at $59.95. Elite earns its extra $25โ$30 if you want the CloudGuard layer, grippier sides and strap sockets, and Elite Mirror is the same case with shine. Puffy is a texture treat with a charging trade-off, Snap suits older phones, and Crystals is the splurge. Pick the build after you pick the print.
