Boll & Branch Sheets Compared 2026: All 9 Fabrics, From Signature to Supima

Boll & Branch Sheets Compared 2026: All 9 Fabrics, From Signature to Supima

Open the Sheets menu on Boll & Branch's website and you'll find nine fabrics, each with a two-word tagline: "Buttery Soft," "Ultra-Relaxed," "Cool & Crisp," "Cool & Relaxed," "Light & Airy," "Velvety & Breathable," "Delicately Soft," "Silky & Smooth," "Soft & Lustrous." In a photo, every one of them looks like a neatly made white bed. Yet the price of a queen set runs from just under $300 to nearly $900.

So Olivia Reviews read every sheet-set product page side by side, covering weave, fiber, where it's grown and made, pocket depth, hem details, care and price, to work out what actually separates them. This isn't a "which brand is better" piece. It's Boll & Branch against itself, so you can buy the right fabric the first time.

Quick take: For most people the decision is Signature (smooth sateen, all-season) or Percale (crisp and cooling), both from $229. The Vintage Washed versions add a lived-in finish for about $20 more. Linen and Flannel are for people who sleep hot or cold. Reserve, Elysian Cotton Cashmere and Summit Supima are the premium tier, and all three are excluded from promotions. See today's Boll & Branch deals before you choose.

Price ranges cover the different bed sizes, as listed in October 2026. Below, the fabrics are grouped by the decision you're actually making.

Decision 1: Signature or Percale?

These two are the backbone of the range, and on paper they have a lot in common. Both use long-staple 100% organic cotton grown on a family farm in India and made by artisans in India. Both have a 17-inch fitted-sheet pocket with full elastic, a 7-inch hem on the flat sheet and pillowcases (5 inches on patterned styles), and the same $229 starting price. The difference is the weave.

Signature is a sateen. The brand describes it as "buttery smooth right away," with a slight sheen, comfortable all year, and getting softer with each wash. Its own product page points you away from it only if you want "ultra-crisp hotel-style sheets."

Percale is the crisp one. Boll & Branch says the weave "tents around the body," letting air circulate. It labels the fabric "Cooling" and names hot sleepers and warm climates as its target. Percale also comes in a few simple stripes, while Signature has the bigger choice of garden and botanical prints.

A simple test: if you love the feel of a worn T-shirt, choose Signature. If you love the snap of a freshly pressed hotel bed, choose Percale.

Decision 2: Crisp-and-Pressed or Lived-In?

Both everyday fabrics come in a Vintage Washed version that costs about $20 more. The brand finishes them with a two-step garment wash and small-batch dye, which gives a soft tonal gradient that deepens around the stitching. The hem also changes, from a flat hem to a 2-inch turn-back cuff with double-needle top stitching, and the pillowcases have envelope closures.

Signature Vintage Washed ($249–$359) is for anyone who wants Signature's softness from night one with a more casual, rumpled look. It comes in six "Vintage" shades: White, Cream, Sand, Mist, Hydrangea and Shore.

Percale Vintage Washed ($249–$359) keeps percale's cooling weave but softens the crispness. The brand says to choose regular Percale Hemmed if you want "the crispest, most structured hotel-style sheets," and this version if you'd rather have a "more casual, lived-in look." It comes in four colors.

There's also a third option for the same two fabrics: Embellished sets ($299–$439). They use the same Signature or Percale cloth with decorative edges, including piped edges, embroidery, curved edges and the three-tone Trielle trim. A few embellished styles, such as Ladder Stitch and Sail Stitch, were in the sale section when we checked.

Decision 3: Do You Sleep Hot or Cold?

If temperature is your main problem at night, two fabrics are built for the extremes.

Boll and Branch Linen Sheet Set in White, folded
The Linen Sheet Set is made from certified 100% European Flax. Image: Boll & Branch.

Linen ($399–$539) is the hot sleeper's fabric. It's certified 100% European Flax, grown in Western Europe, and finished with enzyme and garment washes so it starts soft instead of stiff. The brand rates it "Cooling" and describes it as naturally moisture-wicking with a relaxed drape and visible texture. It has a 6-inch hem and the same 17-inch pocket as the cotton sets. Five colors were listed, including Melange Natural and Melange Bay.

Flannel ($279–$489) is the cold sleeper's answer. It's 100% organic cotton made by artisans in Portugal, then brushed and triple-sheared, which the brand says gives a smooth, velvety finish that resists pilling. Two details stand out. The fitted sheet is deeper than the rest, with an 18-inch pocket for Twin XL through California King (16 inches for Twin). And the patterns are seasonal, including tartans, windowpanes and whipstitched edges. Patterns and embellished styles run up to $489, and a couple of patterned colorways were marked down.

Decision 4: Is the Premium Tier Worth It?

Above $500, Boll & Branch offers three collections. All three are labeled "Excluded from promotions" on their product pages, and all come in fewer sizes.

Boll and Branch Reserve Sheet Set in White
Reserve adds a French seam and mitered corners to a silkier sateen. Image: Boll & Branch.

Reserve ($499–$649). This is the dressy sateen. It uses rare extra-long-staple organic cotton from India in ultra-fine threads, which the brand says are slow-spun and "finished in flame" for a silkier surface. You can see the upgrade in the tailoring: a French seam and mitered corners on the flat sheet, plus a 5-inch cuff. Sizes run Full through California King (no Twin).

Boll and Branch Elysian Cotton Cashmere Sheet Set in Cream with Camel piped edge

Elysian Cotton Cashmere ($729–$799). This one is a different kind of fabric altogether: 92% extra-long-staple organic Turkish cotton blended with 8% traceable cashmere from Mongolia, made in Portugal, then brushed and washed. The brand calls it "warm & breathable" and pitches it at cold sleepers who don't want flannel's thickness. Like Flannel, it has an 18-inch pocket. It comes in Queen, King and California King only, and the care label notes that "light pilling is natural" for a brushed fabric.

Boll and Branch Summit Supima Sheet Set in White
Summit Supima uses organic Supima cotton grown on a family farm in Texas. Image: Boll & Branch.

Summit Supima ($829–$899). The top of the range is 100% organic Supima cotton grown on a family farm in Texas and made by artisans in India. The brand describes it as silky smooth with "noticeable body" and a "slightly warmer, more substantial feel" than its other sateens. It has mitered corners, a 5-inch cuff, and comes in Queen, King and California King only.

Is it worth it? If you already love Signature, Reserve is the natural next step: same idea, silkier hand, dressier finish. Elysian solves a specific problem (cozy but not heavy), and Summit Supima is for buyers who care most about where the fiber comes from.

Pros & Cons

  • Deeper 18-inch pockets on Flannel and Elysian

What to watch

  • Nine fabrics, plus washed and embellished variants, can feel overwhelming

  • Sale colors are final sale
  • Brushed fabrics like Elysian may show light pilling, the brand notes

Who Should Pick What

Pick Signature if you share a bed with someone who runs at a different temperature and you want one safe, all-season choice. Pick Percale or Linen if you kick off the covers at 2 a.m. Pick Flannel or Elysian if your bedroom is cold from November to March. Skip the premium tier if you're furnishing a guest room or rental, where Signature or Percale already covers the basics.

How to Save

  1. Sign up for emails. When we checked, the site's sign-up box offered 15% off a first order of $200+. It won't apply to Reserve, Elysian or Supima.

FAQ

What's the difference between Signature and Reserve?

Both are organic cotton sateens. Reserve uses rarer extra-long-staple cotton in finer threads with a flame finish, and adds a French seam, mitered corners and a 5-inch cuff. It costs more than twice as much and is excluded from promotions.

Which Boll & Branch sheets are cooling?

The brand labels Percale, Percale Vintage Washed and Linen as "Cooling." Signature, Reserve and Summit Supima are listed as all-season.

Which sets fit the deepest mattresses?

Flannel and Elysian Cotton Cashmere have an 18-inch pocket for Twin XL through California King. Most others have 17 inches.

Are the premium sheets ever discounted?

Their product pages say Reserve, Elysian Cotton Cashmere and Summit Supima are excluded from promotions. Check our Boll & Branch deals page for what's currently live on other lines.

Final Verdict

Boll & Branch's sheet lineup is easier to shop than it looks once you treat it as four decisions: sateen or percale, pressed or washed, hot or cold, everyday or premium. For most bedrooms, Signature or Percale at $229 is the sensible start, with the Vintage Washed versions for a softer, casual look. Linen and Flannel cover the temperature extremes. The $500-plus tier is a genuine upgrade in fiber and finishing, but it's a choice about luxury, not a requirement for a good bed.
