What could be better
- –Mason jar look does not suit every interior
- –Wax type varies — check the individual product page
Handmade mason jar candles in more than fifty scents, all at roughly $15. The flat price is the most interesting thing about the range and it is easy to overlook.
Buying candles is normally a gamble, because scent is the one product attribute that cannot be checked before purchase and descriptions are close to useless. When every jar costs the same, trying an unfamiliar scent costs nothing extra, and a mistake is a $15 mistake rather than a $40 one. Fifty scents at fifty different prices would be a much worse shop.
The mason jar format is practical rather than decorative. Wide mouth means the wax pool spreads properly and the wick is less likely to tunnel, and the jar is reusable afterwards. It will not suit a minimalist interior, and the brand does not pretend otherwise.
On burn quality, the thing to check on any candle at this price is the wax. Soy and soy blends burn cooler and longer than paraffin; paraffin throws scent harder but faster. Neither is wrong, but it decides whether a jar lasts a season or a month, and it is worth reading the specific product page rather than assuming.
Strong choice for gifts, for seasonal scents, and for anyone who likes changing scent often. Less compelling if you want one signature candle for a living room, where a single more expensive jar may serve better.
